About This Project
Behold is the initiator and National Lead of the largest global green business idea competition ClimateLaunchpad in Colombia.

ClimateLaunchpad (CLP) its mission is to address the negative impacts of climate change by ways of innovation, invention and entrepreneurship. A green future requires a high rate of innovation challenging the current status quo. The competition supports aspiring and promising cleantech entrepreneurs with training, coaching and networking opportunities.

Since its inception in 11 countries in 2014, ClimateLaunchpad has achieved impressive growth numbers by supporting 1.900+ teams consisting of over 3.000+ entrepreneurs of which about 60% are still in business today. In total €100+ million was closed in (external) funding and over 8.000+ new green innovative jobs were created. A real testament to the tangible social impact realized. ClimateLaunchpad has rapidly grown into a global competition, currently in over 55 countries. Annualy over 2,000 green business ideas were submitted for the global competition. Forced by COVID-19 the 2020 competition went for the first time be 100% online offering huge scalability potential and more importantly significantly reducing our own carbon footprint.
